Ars moriendi working group at the ARS autumn conference

On December 2-3, 2025, the Academic Folklore Society (ARS) autumn conference will be held at the Estonian Literary Museum (Vanemuise 42, Tartu), celebrating the 75th birthday of folklorist Anu Korb and the 100th birthday of the ARS.

The conference theme is the ethics of human research in the humanities, and interesting presentations and discussions are expected, including presentations and participation from members of the Ars Moriendi 2030 working group.

Piret Paal participates in the discussion panel on institutional ethics and Beatrice D’Angelo, a master’s student associated with the working group, presents ethical challenges related to her fieldwork in home hospice.
